ZIPLOC OMELET

This works great !!! Good for when all your family is together.  The best part is that no one has to wait for their special
omelet.
Have guests write their name on a quart size Ziploc freezer bag with permanent
marker.

Crack 2 eggs (large or extra-large) into the bag (not more than 2) shake to combine them.

Put out a variety of ingredients such as: cheeses, ham, onion, green pepper, tomato, hash browns, mushrooms, salsa, etc.

Each guest adds prepared ingredients of choice to their bag and shake.  Make sure to get the air out of the bag and zip
it up.
Place the bags into rolling, boiling water for exactly 13 minutes  [we did 15 minutes].  You can usually cook 6-8 omelets in a large pot.  For more, make another pot of boiling water.

Open the bags and the omelet will roll out easily. Be prepared for everyone to be amazed.

Nice to serve with fresh fruit and coffee cake; everyone gets involved in the process and a great conversation piece.

Imagine having these ready the night before, and putting the bag
in boiling water while you get ready … and in 15 minutes, you’ve got a
nice omelete for a quick breakfast.

I have cupboards full of cookbooks.
Sort of like my collection of purses.
I can’t say I am a good cook but I sure like to look at the pictures.
I would choose a recipe book over a novel any day.
I got an email from a  friend of mine the other day asking me to
participate in a recipe exchange.
 
Sounds like fun to me, I hope you will participate too.
I bet we will get recipes from all over the world.

(even if you don’t know them). 
It should be something quick, easy and without rare ingredients.
Actually, the best one you know in your head and can type right now.
Don’t agonize over it is the one you make when you are short of time.
After you’ve sent your recipe to the person in position 1
(and only to that one person), copy this letter into a new e-mail,
move my name to the top and put your name in position 2. 
Only my name and your name should show when you send your mail. 
Send to 20 friends.   
It’s fun to see where they come from!
Seldom does anyone drop out because we all need new ideas.
