Don’t you just love that Slap Chop ad?
Commercials really do work. Especially if you see them repeatedly. I always loved that Slap Chop ad. The spokes person, Vince makes cooking look like fun when you use the Slap Chop. I am all for that. Every time I see this ad I think of chopping walnuts. I use a hand grinder, I just hate it. I have a food processor but I would never drag that out for chopping just a few walnuts. But this Slap Chop looks like it would be just what I need. Doesn’t everyone need one?After seeing the ad for the 100th time I decided it was time to order one.

So I called and was basically told I didn’t read nor did I know how to order. When I suggested that the website must be written wrong, missing a few IMPORTANT numbers, it was as though I was being laughed at. I was getting no where. So I sent in an email……This is the response that I got back:

The Slap Chop is purchased for $19.95 + $7.95 S&H. You will receive a free graty. In addition, you receive a second set free, you just pay for the cost of S&H on the second set – an additional $7.95. For the standard package, two Slap Chops and two gratys, your total is $35.80.
If you would like the deluxe package, you will receive japanese stainless steel blades for your Slap Chop, a 10 year warranty, a third blade – the slicing blade – for the graty, and two folding cutting boards. This is an additional $9.95 + $3.95 S+H (due to the addition of cutting boards) per set. If you would like the deluxe package, add $27.80 to the original order of $35.80.
